Dear JD, Thank you for being such a wonderful friend. You were right about a lot of things. It took me time to understand where you were coming from - thank you for reminding me that gay men don't always have my back. Good advice. Even though we became estranged later on, I'm glad you were in my life. I wish I could have returned your generosity somehow. At least I tried.
