Rascher, Steven Emperor XVI

I met Steve and his Empress Lily when they were crowned Emperor and Empress of San Francisco in 1988 -- just a week after my partner and I had been crowned as Emperor and Empress of Seattle. We had great fun with Steve and Lily during our year reigning and I always appreciated his friendship and sense of humor. I was fortunate to have been able to visit briefly with Steven while I was in San Francisco for The Widow Norton's funeral. I met his husband Gene and their wonderful companion Sofie on that day. My sincere condolences to Gene and Steve's family on his loss. He was a dear man and it was difficult to see him suffer so with his illness. He will be missed greatly.
