I wanted to sign your online remembrance after reading that you were exposed to HIV in the late 1970's. Wow what a blessing to have outlived so many who never lived to full adulthood such as your self. I know that there are possibly 100 HIV/AIDS survivor's from 1979-1989 infections still living globally. While million's have died due to horrible infections, suppressed immune ailments and Cancer's. You did something so brave,,,you fought the good fight! May the medical professional's learn from your viral history and maybe a cure down the road..Sail on into a wonderful place above. God bless you...and RIP

Neil, I am entering this remembrance many years after your death ... I think about you so often that I still enter your name into search engines to ... well, to what? ... feel somehow connected to you after all this time? And thus, I found this site. I met you at Maneframe on Polk Street in the early nineties. You were much more than a fabulous hairdresser. You cracked me up, you made me think, you were totally yourself, always, and maybe you didn't realize how important that was to me, but it was. I still miss you. You were so totally yourself. Maybe you didn't realize how valuable that was. But it was. And it still is. And I love you, Neil and I always will.
