Frank was a member of the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus from March, 1983 until September, 2003 for a total of 50 concert seasons. Frank served SFGMC in a myriad of roles during this time: board member, Executive Director, Chorus president ? Frank was always available for virtually any need that arose with SFGMC. He was a big, beautiful man. During his last years he suffered from debilitating bone loss which resulted in two hip replacements. I was one of a vast network of friends and caregivers that was mobilized to make sure Topper, his beloved cocker spaniel was walked twice a day. He last sang as a member of the Bass section. The Chorus refers to these members who are no longer able to sing with the group as members of the "Fifth Section." They are listed Chorus programs and on the group's website: https://www.sfgmc.org/about_fifth.shtml

Frank was a great man. I knew him through the Chorus. He was always pleasant to be around, and I miss him. Thank you, Frank. You are loved.

Frank was my best friend for almost twenty years and even though he has been gone for seven years, I still miss him so much. He was my pal--someone to call on the spur of the moment to see if he wanted to go see a movie or have a meal or just hang out. We met in the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus and we both sang Bass. When I think of Frank, the memories flood over me like a river. He was big and tall and funny and loud and never met a stranger. I am sure that somewhere in Heaven Frank is organizing things and making sure that everything runs like it is supposed to and that everyone is doing what they are supposed to be doing. He was a master organizer and never, ever, ever let a detail fall through a crack. I love you, Frank, and I miss you very much.
