Nicholson, Gregg Brian

Gregg joined the San Francisco Gay men's Chorus in February, 1984 and served as a staff member, always lending a hand at concerts. The Chorus refers to these members who are no longer able to sing with the group as members of the Fifth Section. I'm the son of one of Gregg's cousins, never having met him since he died a year before I was born. However, Gregg began work on a children's novel around when he was diagnosed, the manuscript of which I read recently. I see a lot of myself in his writing, especially his love of writing, singing, theater, and general demeanor. I'm glad he made other people happy, and that he always found the joy in life.
