I love and miss you Ricky, you were so very special and I miss your smile, your touch, and being near you. I miss our scrabble games, and our fun Sunday mornings relaxing with the newspaper and coffee... You fought the battle with dignity and honor, and I am so very proud of you! I so wish life had been different for you and for us but it was not in the cards. You will always have a piece of my heart, and I will never ever forget the love we had... I moved to Puerto Rico and have met a wonderful man to share my life with and he loves you too because he knows how much you meant to me. The poems you wrote and left for me to find have brought me so much comfort, I thank you... Meet me in my dreams.

Rick, I still think of you all the time, especially yesterday, being your birthday. Dan is starting to resemble you...who'd've thunk it? I am glad that although your physical presence is far away, your spirit lives in my heart and in my days. I am forever thankful for the time we had. I love you.
