Paul Wotman was a dedicated and effective attorney-advocate for our community. He did for us what feminist attorney Gloria Allred in Los Angeles does for women. However, Wotman did not do his work alone. In fact, he had serial legal partners, including Mike Hall, who has his own legal practice in San Francisco, Geoff Kors, who is with the National Center for Lesbian Rights in San Francisco, and Gary Cloutier, formerly of Vallejo, California, who currently lives in Providence, Rhode Island.

I just turned 54 & I loved Paul for more than 20 years. I'll never forget the day I saw him first. It was at the muscle system. I was 19. Paul was in the shower for what felt like an inordinate amount of time considering I'd been eyeing him from the jacuzzi trying to lure him him for some...conversation. He never got in. If memory serves (and the little b!tch is serving it up vivid right now) he never, not even once looked my way. He spent the entire time in the shower. I don't even think he was cruzing anyone in particular. He was just showing off...for EveryBody ;o) When I did actually meet him a year later he denied the whole sordid affair until I pointed out he'd not asked about any particular day...We just laughed. He was the smartest man I've ever met. A direct descendant of Freud (yea that 1). I loved him dearly & miss him every day. My most sincere condolences to Dani ~~ Christon

Paul was my first cousin and I have fond memories of him. He is missed.
