I have never met you, or probably anyone that was your friend, lover or family. I would not recognize you in a photograph or on the street. I will never know what you believed in, fought for, despised or dreamed of. But I know your name. You were important. You were loved. You were unique. And my heart hurts thinking of the pain this disease caused you and your loved ones. You will not be forgotten. I will remember you.
