After researching acquaintances and friends I knew when I lived in SF or before/after when visiting SF...I saw Brian's obituary. I met Brian and Bruce way back in the fall of 1982. They lived both in the Haight-Ashbury section os SF. They were a wonderful couple. I remember when Brian moved to a house if I am not mistaken on the other side of Noe Valley.... with a red door? He was happy to see me since I was living in NYC at the time. He lived in SOMA for a while also, near the SF Eagle. He was a cerebral man of many facets and intellect. I was very fond of him at the time. I was so torn to hear that he, of all people was taken down by a homophobic nut job while entering a bar in 1998. Brian was one not to hold back his thoughts. I am still in shock to this day...2014 that he is no longer with us....and I have the memories of him to remember him by like so many other people in my life that left this earth whether it be family or friend. If anyone would like to contact me, please do to share the moments of one of the most nicest gay man that I met in SF. He will always be missed. Brian, your sense of humor will always shine for us that knew you. RIP, Marc
