I met Frank on Guam, where he was working for Xerox, and I was stationed at the Naval Communications base. He took me under his arm and helped with my coming out. I remember his laugh, his sparkling eyes, and the warmth of his arms. Later I travelled to San Francisco to spend time with him at that beautiful house across from the mint.
