Hard to believe you've been gone 15 years now. I was glad to have seen you at Davies Hospital with your Mom at your side. I whispered in your ear that it was OK to let go. Your breathing was labored. We had some wonderful times together. I treasured your friendship and enjoyed walking the Grace Cathedral Labarinth with you on the 10th Anniversary of your AIDS diagnosis. You were an amazing man and I loved you.............

Yes Ram you were exceptional in many ways. But you proved to me that you were also mundane and predictable. At worst, we diminished and misunderstood each other. At best, we explored some new territory for both of us. Wish we had ended on a more empathetic and understanding note.I wish you well. Fly freely; go love some more. -TJ
