Hestdalen, Clifford Melvin Jr

I knew Cliff well during my years in San Francisco; I was a law student at USF when we met, and we remained friends for years after I passed the bar and worked in SF as a lawyer. I was also a super at the SF Opera for many years, and Cliff and I had a great time in that venue, and in many others. The one thing I remember most from his apartment(s) was a sign he had on the wall that said: Dance In, Strut Out, or something like that! I am from South Texas originally, and when in SF I also had horses that I kept up in Sonoma County; I well recall taking Cliff up there to see them. He was a wonderful man, a lovely friend, sexy as hell and he lit up the world with his smile. It's hard to comprehend all the years that have passed, and my 15 years in San Francisco were wonderful and magic and, yes, dreadful in terms of all the friends I lost.
