I was Michael's long term partner when he died. I just found this wonderful archive today and it brings back so many memories. It is now 20 years after he died yet he is still fondly remembered by me. Such a shame that someone so gentle and giving had to die at 36 years of age. And that can be echoed by so many of those whose obituaries are found here...
