No day goes by without thinking of you and the days we spent together. 27 years ago today we'd have been sitting on the deck smoking cigars, watching our little flock of sheep and Tootsie, our Great Dane would snuggle her big head under your arm to let you know she loved you. Together we planted over 100 trees on our little slice of heaven on Orchard Station Road. You taught me how to drive a tractor, hook up the various implements for mowing, rototilling, or grading our road. You'd tell me that I might have to go it alone someday. You prepped me for the day you'd leave me for the other side, yet when Christmas morning came in 1995, it was not without pain. Some of who remember you are are still here. We laugh, tell stories, and remember you and your bigger than life Texas attitude.
