Hello , I wanted to sign your memorial because from what I noticed on your post you were very much loved and respected for your work in the bay area. What saddens me is that you lost your life to this awful disease that has claimed millions of people around the globe. Sadly you did not live long enough to know of the much improved life saving ant-viral's. I hope that many of your friends will come here to this site and write about the memories,they shared with you and how you touched their live's? Rip..

George/Shelly was such a vibrant, warm, loving person. He truly saw the good in others. He cared so much for his friends and his community. He was one of the many whose parents rejected them because of their sexual orientation. They lost the opportunity to know the real him, such a shining light in our world. He was and is so very missed.
