Bob was not only a beautiful man with his handsome good looks, but a beautiful soul as well. A dear friend to me and my partner Steve Sordelli and who truly inspired those of us lucky to be in his company. He is still missed.

Bob, friend and lover, was someone I met in 1973 as a struggling graduate student at the University of Chicago. With his good looks, intelligence, wit, and charm, he showed me that life, however difficult, was worthy of exploring. Some 25 years after his death, I still miss him. Rest in peace, Roberto.

Bob was one of the nicest guys I knew. He had a great wit and was always a joy to hang out with. I took him and my late partner Steve Sordelli to Great America for Bob's last birthday to bring a little glimpse of fun into their final days. It was so painful to see such vibrant man like Bob succumb to the disease.

Bobby used to stop by my house to sit on the porch and just shoot the breeze when we were in Commack High School. Sweet, kind, funny - a great friend always. I heard rumors of his passing and am grateful to have found that he lived a fulfilling life, but such a tragic death. Miss you Bobby. Miss you.
