What a truly extraordinary human being you were. Your friendship changed me for the better, your recovery worked when I couldn’t find my own higher power, I felt more interesting when in your presence. All because you had a way of really seeing people. That’s what made your writing so compelling. I miss you, and I always will. Thank you for sharing both your life and your chosen way of dying.
