Heaphy, Clifford John

Cliff and I met in a Master's level counseling class at SF State in 1981. We were best friends until his early death. He worked so hard his whole life to overcome all the obstacles placed in front of him. Cliff and I introduced each other to so many new and fascinating things. I became another son in their family and kept up with his mother until the time of her death in 2011. Just when Cliff finished his interminable Doctorate program, and things looked really great for his career, life presented him with one last insurmountable obstacle.
