Kelly, John

John was one of my first friends in San Francisco, meeting him about two months after moving here in 1981. John on his own would be enough fun and trouble but along with him you got his wide group of friends that included locals, ex New Yorkers and a whole crew from Baltimore. What crazy times I had with him here in San Francisco and great parties at his place on Grant Street in Berkeley. Such a big personality all wrapped up in all that handsome New York Irishness. What a guy. His name still comes up often and my mom (who he schmoozed) still harbors a crush on him. Still missed.
