Thom began my recovery journey when he closed my door at the treatment center in Kalamazoo, MI and said Ronald, you're never going to stay sober until you admit you're Gay. His profound and bold assessment sent me on my way as a Friend of Bill W. The last time we met was in my home in Washington, DC on his country wide travels. As I put him back on the train he turned and simple said, 'Play Safe'. I miss Thom so much, and his wisdom. Rest in Peace Brother Ronald
