I will forever have a great fondness for Jim. He played a very important part in my life when I was coming out in 1971. I was so lost but Jim was very kind in showing me the ropes. Love always, Howard

Jim was a very special person in my life. We met in Sacramento when he was researching local victoian buildings. He was my first “crush” while I think he thought me to be a pest, at least after a year. Jim, you are very much remembered.
