Burt, Richard

Richard is largely responsible for the pages of photos from the obits that were published by the BAR. He was the paste up artist after Peter Keane, during the time of the most heavy obituary publication, when they would run two pages or more. On Fridays it was his job to strip the flats that had come back from the printer, and he could not bear to just throw these photos away. So he saved them. And then he asked Bob Ross if we could publish just the pictures as a remembrance. And Bob agreed. It was heartbreaking. And yet so important.
