I met Roy in 1973 or '74. He was a sexy, intellegent, eclectic man. I knew Roy from the Zen Center where we would occasionally go for early morning meditation. We would sometimes be found at the No Name bar on Folsom St, We were both founding members of The Pacific Drill Patrol, a club for men who liked uniforms as a fetish. I would visit Roy in the flat that he rented on Mc Allister St.. from Miss Rose. There we would have dinner, sometimes with one or more of his fascinating roomates. I remember often finding Roy in the backyard where he raised vegetables for himself, his flatmates and for his friend and landlady, dear Miss Rose. I met Walden's Pond thru Roy and Roy was a very literate man. Thank You Roy for showing a younger man so much of value in the world and in the mind. I was early twenties and meeting many intreesting men but Roy was a gem and now I am 61 and I still remember Roy often and with gratitude....don morrell

This is a miracle to find a person in a photo i have from 1985 ,so glad i wrote his name on the back of the picture. Met him while he was a guest of my room mate Terry K in Green Bay Wi. I never forgot about him thru the years. He was so sexy in his blue jeans and red cotton shirt and white t shirt and slender body with 34 inch waist. So sad of his passing , but i can close that door. Sorry to the people that knew him. Wish i could share the picture. Take care everyone.
