I enjoyed the Christmas party, you were a complete gentleman and excellent host. Little did I know that when I arrived in San Francisco in 1984 so many wonderful people and experiences awaited. Going to your bar and meeting you had such a positive impact on my life and so many others who are still here and remember you with loving affection. I will always remember you.

Edward Siegel was one of the most powerful and important influences in my young life. A true mentor to me both personally and professionally. Caring,fiercely loyal, over the top generous and hysterically funny. I think of him often all these years later and smile. I wouldn't be me today without him then.
