I have two great memories, apprenticing at Johann's in SF. Roger coming to work with an expensive designer silk scarf and getting it caught in a blowdryer. Being Roger, he tried to pull it off with panache, but I know he wanted to scream! Other one was him taking me to dinner ($$$). He tried to get me to eat snails but I wouldn't. Love you guy!
