I know Steve from fire Island my first encounter with him was at a party. He said to me so who are you and I replied and who are you? He said I am the host. I said well then I have to thank you for inviting me. He said what is your name I said Michael Rossum and he said you're Barry McKinley's boyfriend. I said yes I am he said he's a nice guy, I said yeah but you don't have to live with him. We immediately hit it off I came back to San Francisco after leaving Barry, and found that Steve had moved to San Francisco a few years later. When he opened the store on Castro Street I used to goi in and say hello and give he was sick I was devastated. Do you want many people from New York that I had history with like I had Steve them a hug. It wasn't until a few years later that I found out he was sick I was devastated. There weren't many people from New York that I had history with it like I have Steve. I have just finished writing a book coming out on Amazon called Touchstone a survivor story. It is dedicated to Steve and all my other friends and courageously died too young. Sincerely Michael Rossum
