I knew Gary in the early years of San Francisco life. He and his partner at the time (another Gary) and my partner all worked at the same company. I remember going to an only chocolate dessert party at his home and then using the hot tub out back discussing ethereal topics - all in a stoned haze! I did a job for Gary in exchange for several glass blocks which are now in my home studio. I have many wonderful memories of the old days and often wonder how I have survived this long.
