David was a sheer delight when we had our first meeting. He said he worked for sutro and company and was on his way to a wedding. He stood in front of the gas pump in his memorial photo at a club called the gas station in Los Angeles and I took his photo. I often wondered over the years what had happened to David and when I visited san francisco I often took my friend Jim Mace and his partner Dennis Reichmuth to PS restaurant. There I saw david again and again.

I was in SF from Hawaii attending my dying mother. The bar called Kimo's reminded my of my friend in Hawaii named Kimo so I stopped in and met David. His and my chemistry was excellent so I stopped in frequently. His beauty amazed me and he became my personal dream man. He and I were opposite zodiac signs, he a Virgo, me a Pisces, he became my island of calm during my mom's cancer. Before I left SF to return to Hawaii I held a luau party at my parents old home. David came and I was eleated. I was so sad to learn of his passing as I have always loved him. September 2021
