Scott, it's been so very long since we last met and talked, but I just want to tell you how much I still miss you, and how often I think of you.

Scott was a member of the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus from February, 1984 until April, 1987 for a total of 11 concert seasons. He last sang as a member of the Bass section. I met Scott in the Chorus and visited him a few times during his last months. Once while I was there he was too weak to really talk, but he needed to water his orchids. His caregiver and I helped him from his bed into the kitchen to get his watering supplies and then to enable him to get to all of his plants. Scott loved to garden, and was a landscaper to many friends. The Chorus refers to these members who are no longer able to sing with the group as members of the "Fifth Section."
