Cappetta, Joseph Vincent

My strongest memory of Joe is seeing him walking his bike up Castro Street. He'd be stopped a half dozen times in that single block between 17th and 18th by friends and by people who recognized him from his acting in plays at Theatre Rhino. My God, he was a sexy, handsome man. You could also find him hanging out in the artist colony that was located in the old Victorian house that now is part of the San Francisco LGBT Community Center. His boyfriend, John, painted and lived there. What a huge loss for the arts community and for his many, many friends.

I will love you forever my dear Joe and have missed you every day since you left.
