Hobbie, John

John and I met in March of 1985 and soon began dating. We fell deeply in love and though our time together was brief, we loved deeply. We knew we had limited time and worked very hard to go as deeply as possible in that short period. I was and am a Christian and John a Buddhist-Vipassana school. I learned so much from this bond. John gently guided me into a level of self-knowledge I had never before experienced. We both sought the truth and rejoiced in one another's spiritual progress. John was probably a genius and had mastered a huge amount of knowledge and wisdom in many different areas. He was an actor, a mystic, a devotee of all the arts--and he had a wicked sense of humor. I will never meet his like again and he is always in my heart. Love you, my sweet man. Michael
