Bobby is how I knew him, Bobby Starr... a true star indeed that warmed and brightened me for the time we shared as friends. I met him in the Summer of '76, July 4th on the Christopher Street pier in the scorching, summer NYC sun. Our eys locked and our faces bloomed with smiles. He had just arrived from San Francisco. And like a newfound puppy he followed me to my apartment and didn't leave for weeks. A beuatiful man, filled with love, and a talented pianist. I expected this page to be filled with flowery passages of love for this gentle man. But alas, so amany who may have written may have also succumbed to the awful plague that stole too many of our young and beautiful stars. I love you, Bobby. You remain in my heart. ALWAYS
