Keane, Peter Michael

Peter was the paste up artist at the BAR until approximately 1987, and as the Arts & Entertainment editor I worked with both he and Michael Goldberg closely in the garage that was the lay-out studio at the old BAR office (before Pagemaker, when we laid out the flats by hand using line tape and half tones, but I digress). He was a very gentle yet spirited person, and one of my best memories is his telling Bob Ross, you better be careful, I have a sharp object in my hand (exacto blade). I miss him dearly.
