Fortier, Marvin

Michael T. Roper memorialized Marvin Fortier in his book, Memories of My Gay Brothers (2000).

Marvin was my uncle. He had a sister who's name is Virginia and still alive and living in Yakima Wa. He bor and raised in Moxee Wa and later moved to Seattle and then to San Francisco. I visited him in 1986 in San Francisco and had a pleasant stay with him and learned some of my family history. He didn't spend much time with his family, preferring to associate with his new family in San Francisco. I wish I could have spent more 5ime with him, but his life was cut short by aids.
