Okay I wanted to point out that I have known many Homo-sexual men dating back to the time of my 18th b-day and the early 1990's. Regard-less if men are Hetero-sexual,Bi or Homo-sexual like the old adage Boy's will be Boys'. I won't preach but I will say that the bath house's did contribute to many needless infections. I feel that every adult engaging in adult relation's should be responsible and protect them selfs! Except no one saw this one coming........Had you forecast this DEADLY virus like Hurricane Katrina,no one would have feared the devasting outcome. Recently I have heard of the slang Chasing the Bug..Guy's don't do this to yourself and learn from this online obituary. This is a terrible way to die..I lost 11 friends from this disease. I miss them daily and may all have passed..RIP

Duke, I am proud and humbled to hold the position you held as CRIR became Log Cabin. All your work has paid off. Last night, we created the tenth California Log Cabin chapter at UC Berkeley. In a room with so many young people I thought of you and realized that, like you, they were full of ideas and ideals and that they are the generation that will complete the work you began more than 30 years ago. When few could even imagine it, you knew the Republican Party would someday welcome us and that we belonged in it. Your goal is within our reach now. That we never lost sight of it for three decades proves you were right. What happened last night would not have been possible without your determination and foresight. You were in that room among the proud people who have inherited your vision. Thanks Duke
