Uncle Max. I found you!! I’m in tears right now because your life MATTERED. You were an artist and musician and so am I. You inspired me to be unique when I felt different. To make art that fills me up. Your songs have always been a source of joy, and I listen to your tape now and then. I wish I’d known you longer. I was 8 when you died. That was almost 40 years ago. I hope you were loved by many. I hope you are remembered fondly. Because you are loved and remembered by me. I love you. Love, Trudy Mower❤️

Uncle Jeff Max, wow. Trudy sent me here to find you. We were just kids when you died. I'm so thankful I was old enough to have some fun memories with you. Not nearly enough. I remember riding around in the back of our truck in San Fransisco with the canopy on. We made dad and Jenni in the front ask us how we were doing, so we could sing back the song from Dirty Dancing ,"oh I'm having the time of my life!" Another time, I remember crying because I had the smallest Christmas present from you, but you assured me I should be happy because my small gift was the most expensive. (My gold earrings).
I'm sorry your life was cut short. We loved you very much. Love, Laurie
