Sweet Glen, you sat behind me at my first job in San Francisco and your warmth made me feel welcomed instantly. I wasn't out yet, but you knew the score and were patient with me and helped me navigate the gay scene in San Francisco. I met my lover and moved to Maui for several years and when I returned I happened across your obit. I wrote your mother and told her what a wonderful human being you were and she and I corresponded after that....you will always have a special place in my heart. Love you, Brian

I moved to San Francisco in 1978 and got my first job out of college at a Japanese bank. My first day of work I walked in and seated behind my desk was Glen Jordan. With his big smile and southern charm he made the austere environment at that bank dissipate. He helped me open my closet door and was a good friend. I think about you often dear friend.
