The horror of losing Juan Diego Michel. The pain never goes away. He was wonderful and unique. Nobody like Juan Diego. As Michael James said the spirit of Juan Diego roams the Hills of the state of Jalisco. It breaks my heart. Thanks to my husband of 14 years, Joaquin for posting to this site and remembering Juan Diego; a person he only ever knew through me.

My Diego, your are always with me - in the kitchen when I’m cooking, standing behind me whispering gently, “more salt”…when I wander the streets of this City you loved so much I feel you holding my hand reminding me how precious every moment is and to never ever take anything for granted. To always enjoy the early morning fog and the songbirds call to rise up and grab life with everything you’ve got because that’s all we’ve got. Hope, love, dreams. We had it all. We had it all.
