Cain, Steven L

Michael T. Roper memorialized Steve Cain in his book, Memories of My Gay Brothers (2000).

Steve Cain was my great-uncle. I never met him because he passed away long before I was born. I also didn’t know much about him until I researched him and found this obituary. I was proud to see he was an activist. I am grateful for the hard work of archiving historical LGBTQ documents and articles so that I could learn more about my great-uncle.
