The GLBT Historical Society website has a powerful audio recording of Mark Feldman from January 1983 giving a talk about his personal experiences living with AIDS. The recording, which was made six months before Mark died, is part of The Gay Life radio program archives on the website. Listening to Mark talk about his life provides a window into what it was like to be a gay man with AIDS back in the earliest days of the epidemic. Thank you, Mark, for your courage in speaking out about AIDS. You are not forgotten.
I am a senior in college working on my capstone looking through older issues of the B.A.R. and I happened to see such lovely condolences shared in his name. I thought it to be important that I share the same sentiment. Though I never got to know Mark, I can see all of the lives he touched and the impact he had on his respective communities. He will be forever respected and acknowledged as a valuable source of inspiration. Rest in peace, Mark.
