Tom Burtch San Francisco, CA 23 Jun 2010 Jeff was a member of the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus from January, 1985 until September, 1997 for a total of 35 concert seasons. He was a good friend of mine, bunking with me at Chorus retreats, and the GALA conventions in Minneapolis, Seattle, Denver and Miami. We were members of the "Chamber Pot Singers" that performed at retreats having great fun by changing the words to one of the songs currently being learned. He sang as a member of the Bass section. The Chorus refers to these members who are no longer able to sing with the group as members of the "Fifth Section."
