As a DJ in Albany NY during the early 1980s, I could always depend on Patrick's music to get the crowd out onto the dance floor. His brilliant compositions have withstood the test of time. Forever cherishing the music he gave us. Gone too soon. |

I discovered Patrick's music this year and it's outstanding. The biggest input to disco genre. And that's amazing now I can discover him in Poland. |

Over a decade, AIDS proved devastating to these San Francisco musical colleagues: First, Patrick Cowley, who trailblazed electronic music, died in 1982, at 32. Then, Sylvester died in 1988, at 41. Then, Frank Lovende, died in 1990, at 43. Finally, Marty Blecman, died in 1991, at 37. |

Patrick was a monumental talent. What he could have accomplished would have been amazing had he lived. He and his talent were a great loss to the gay community. |
